We seek to respond promptly to all comments and queries and welcome all feedback on our work so that we can continually advance and improve our services and other activities. (Note that DRCC therapy clients and Helpline callers should follow a separate procedure.)
Your feedback matters a lot to us, not only in improving how we work, but also in showing us where we are getting things right – it is a huge boost to our staff and volunteers to hear when our work is making a positive impact.
Feedback from Therapy Clients & Helpline Callers
We in DRCC endeavour to provide you with a high quality service in all departments, and your feedback as a service user, both positive and negative, is always helpful to us in developing and improving our standards.
If a person using any of our services is dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, they can raise a concern or make a complaint using the procedure as outlined in our policy. This process is confidential and the complaint will be treated sensitively.
The service user should, in the first instance, try to resolve the issue directly with the relevant member of staff. The objective of this approach is to resolve the difficulty with the minimum of conflict and stress for the individuals involved. If this is not possible or appropriate, or if this does not resolve the matter, the service user should call 1800 77 8888 during office hours, Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm, and request to speak with a manager.
