Ask Consent IWD2017 Campaign

The DRCC is taking the opportunity on International Women’s Day to again highlight our #AskConsent Campaign which aims to raise awareness; and to continue the conversation about what consent means.  Our campaign is for everyone; without discrimination.

To mark International Women’s Day 2017 the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Katherine Zappone will launch our campaign on Tuesday March 7th with a photo call to showcase our Consent Canvas.  We will also have some students from USI (Student Union of Ireland) and Eureka Secondary School (It’s the Yes not the Dress Campaign).

On Wednesday 8th March  – We are asking our followers and supporters to use the positive power of social media to share the consent message:

#AskConsent: It’s every woman’s #HumanRight. This International Women’s Day #IWD2017 Let’s #BeBoldForChange

Why not let us know what consent means to you. We want to get everyone thinking, talking and most importantly tweeting #AskConsent.
