Our Volunteer Services Department manages the recruitment, training, assessment and supervision of all our volunteers.

DRCC Volunteers undergo extensive training and are an essential part of our team. Volunteers help operate our National 24-Hour Helpline, provide accompaniment services to people attending the Rotunda Hospital’s Sexual Assault Treatment Unit (SATU), Garda stations or court, and give talks to schools and community groups.

The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre could not maintain the level of services we provide without our volunteers. In 2016, our 99 outstanding volunteers accompanied over 260 survivors of sexual violence to SATU, to Garda Stations and to court.

If you would like to learn more about volunteering with the DRCC, please call 01 6614911 or email us.
