Fundraising

The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre originated in 1979 and since then has grown steadily in scope and effectiveness.

Two decades later, our constant problem is finance and we depend greatly on the generosity of the public to maintain our services. We work hard every year to fund-raise half a million euro which is the deficit after annual statutory funding. Our work would not be possible without the help of our generous benefactors, and we know that through all of us working together we can truly make a difference.

We greatly appreciate the public support and interest in our cause; it is deeply appreciated by all who benefit from this generosity.

All money raised from our fundraising events goes towards our counselling and therapy services.
