Dublin Rape Crisis Centre (DRCC) has a twofold mission: to prevent the harm and heal the trauma of all forms of sexual violence in Ireland. DRCC provides therapeutic and first response services through the National 24/7 Helpline, face-to-face therapy and a developing online counselling programme. It provides accompaniment and support to those who attend the Rotunda Sexual Assault Treatment Unit, Garda Stations, and the Courts. In addition, it offers education and training programmes for a wide variety of professionals and volunteers who work with those who have experienced sexual violence.

Qualified Psychotherapist (Part-Time, Permanent)
Dublin Rape Crisis Centre (DRCC) exists to prevent harm and heal the trauma of sexual violence. We provide a range of specialised services, including our National 24/7 Helpline, face-to-face therapy, accompaniment and advocacy, and education and training to those supporting survivors.
We are now inviting applications from committed and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our expanding Therapy Team.
About the Role
As a Psychotherapist with DRCC, you will provide face-to-face counselling and psychotherapy for those who have experienced sexual violence, childhood sexual abuse, rape, or sexual assault. This role involves working directly with women in custody in the Dochas Centre, delivering high-quality therapeutic support in a sensitive, trauma-informed way.
Reporting to the Therapy Services Manager, you will be part of a team working to support recovery, build resilience, and promote healing after sexual violence.
This is a permanent, part-time position (3 days per week):
- 2 days per week based in the Dochas Centre, working directly with clients
- 1 day per week based at DRCC Head Office in Dublin City Centre
About You
We are seeking a qualified Psychotherapist who brings professionalism, empathy and a strong commitment to trauma-informed practice.
Essential requirements:
- Minimum: Degree qualification in adult psychotherapy
- Full accreditation with IAHIP or IACP at the time of application
- Experience working therapeutically with adults

Communications & Digital Engagement Officer
Full Time | Dublin Rape Crisis Centre (DRCC)
Dublin Rape Crisis Centre works to prevent the harm and heal the trauma of sexual violence. We provide 24/7 national support services, face-to-face counselling, accompaniment for survivors, and education and training programmes.
We are seeking a Communications & Digital Engagement Officer to raise awareness of our work, strengthen digital presence, and amplify the voices of survivors. This exciting role combines communications, media relations, digital strategy and stakeholder engagement, offering the opportunity to make real impact at national level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering DRCC’s communications plan and digital strategy.
- Managing media relations, campaigns and events.
- Creating compelling content across social, web, and publications.
- Leading digital engagement, including social media, website, CRM, and digital fundraising.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 4 years’ experience in communications, PR, media, or marketing.
- Strong digital marketing and media relations skills.
- Excellent writing, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Commitment to DRCC’s mission and values.

We recruit volunteers to support our telephone counselling and accompaniment services at various intervals throughout the year. Volunteers are a vital part of our mission to heal the trauma of sexual violence and we rely heavily on their dedication and commitment. No prior experience is needed, we provide full training and expert support.
